Where is this happening…?
You may be wondering where we could find a venue to pull this off. Well believe it or not there is a fully intact vintage “Tiki” Hotel in Sturbridge, Massachusetts only an hour from Boston! The Sturbridge Host Hotel is often used by antique shoppers during the Brimfield Flea Market. Right off Mass Pike and Rt 84, you may also know it from the long running Sturbridge Vintage and Textiles show or the awesome “New England Shake-up” rockabilly event of year’s past. It is time that this venue finally celebrates its incredibly kitschy and authentically inauthentic theming for what Tiki culture is all about!
Room accommodations are not included in the event admission price. You have the choice to stay as many nights as you wish and rates are very affordable, so we suggest booking sooner than later. The best way to reserve a room is to call the Sturbridge Host Hotel main phone (508-347-7393). This will make sure you get the room block price of $119. Make sure to request a “poolside room for the Nor’Easter Island event“. This will reserve you a stay overlooking the Palm Court pool area close to the action. If you are a light sleeper, feel free to request a room away from the pool/courtyard area. Either way, make sure to book your room by January 7th to get the speacial room block price. Also, you may want to take part in the super fun Room Crawl decorating contest. Find out more about this on the TIcket Info Page.
The address for the Sturbridge Host Hotel is : 366 Main St, Sturbridge, MA 01566
